Bloomington police are reporting the death of a man on Kirkwood Avenue Friday morning.
Officers responded to a call from the 400 block of east Kirkwood Avenue to check on a man found lying on the sidewalk. The person reporting the situation was unsure if the man was breathing.
According to BPD Captain Ryan Pedigo, officers determined the man died earlier.
Pedigo says there’s no sign of foul play or injuries to the man.
The Monroe County Coroner responded to the scene and took custody of the body.
The man’s identity is not being released until next of kin is notified.
