Health officials in Indiana reported 140 new COVID-19 cases and two new deaths Monday - the lowest number of new reported cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Indiana Department of Health’s latest numbers showed 13,326 total confirmed deaths and 749,532 positive cases since the pandemic began.
The seven-day positivity rate is 2.8% Monday, down from 2.9% over the weekend, and 497 Hoosiers are hospitalized with the virus.
The state has also administered more than 5.3 million vaccine doses, and more than 2.6 million Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.
In Monroe County, health officials reported seven new positive cases and no additional deaths. County officials have reported 12,163 cases and 175 deaths since the pandemic began.
Monroe County's seven-day positivity rate is 2.9% Monday, up from 2.7% over the weekend, and 16 people are hospitalized with the virus in Monroe County-area hospitals.
The county has conducted 556,977 tests for the virus.
IDOH will no longer update the statewide COVID-19 case or vaccine dashboard on Sundays.
