Health officials in Indiana reported 198 new COVID-19 cases and eight new deaths Tuesday.
The Indiana Department of Health’s latest numbers showed 13,387 total confirmed deaths and 751,826 positive cases since the pandemic began.
The seven-day positivity rate is 2.4% Tuesday and 427 Hoosiers are hospitalized with the virus.
The state has also administered more than 5.5 million vaccine doses, and more than 2.7 million Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.
In Monroe County, health officials reported five new positive cases and no additional deaths. County officials have reported 12,219 cases and 176 deaths since the pandemic began.
Monroe County's seven-day positivity rate is 2.1% Tuesday and 23 people are hospitalized with the virus in Monroe County-area hospitals.
