The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office identified two people that were killed in a two-car crash Sunday morning, along with a third person who was injured.

Sheriff Clark Cottom said deputies responded to the intersection of State Road 48 and County Road 200 East around 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 17.

They found the driver of one vehicle, 16-year-old Malorie Cochran, died from her injuries.  Cochran, a junior at Farmersburg North Central High School, was the only person in the vehicle, according to deputies.

Perry Deschamp, 58, of Jasonville died from his injuries, and 56-year-old Karla Deschamp, also of Jasonville, is being treated for her injuries in an Indianapolis hospital. The Deschamps were in the second vehicle.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
