John Mellencamp, Seymour native, has music coming out this month

Seymour native John Mellencamp’s new album “Strictly a One-Eyed Jack” is set for release Jan. 21.

It’s the first time he’s released music since “Other People’s Stuff” – a cover collection– back in 2018.

“Strictly a One-Eyed Jack” has been on the horizon since Mellencamp and Bruce Springsteen collaborated in September for the song “Wasted Days,” which will be the first single from Mellencamp’s upcoming album. 

The LP comes out on Republic Records and will be available with major streaming services and retailers.
