Transgender girls sports, wood burning fireplace dangers, Pantheon Theatre | Indiana Newsdesk

A bill that would ban trans girls from competing in girls’ sports has passed the Indiana house and is making its way through the senate. Opponents of the bill say it addresses an issue that doesn’t exist.

Wood stoves and fireplaces can be used to heat homes and provide a cozy atmosphere in the cold winter months. But the smoke and ash produced can be dangerous.

And, graduate student workers at IU continue their fight to unionize despite already being denied a formal vote to do so by the university.
