Local COVID-19 testing and vaccination changes take effect April 1

The Monroe County Health Department is changing its process for local COVID-19 vaccination and testing. 

Beginning April 1 st, the Monroe County Public Health Clinic on East Miller Drive will no longer offer online appointment scheduling. County residents must call 812-353-3244 to schedule an appointment for COVID-19 vaccination or testing.

Also, the Gravity Diagnostics COVID testing site on North Curry Pike will close after April 1st.

CVS pharmacies are offering free testing for those who are symptomatic, have been exposed or are referred by a provider.
