Emily Poe Stumler knew all too well her time on the road was up as she juggled touring and law school applications.

Now, the Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Harrison County, Stumler admits her path is unique but says she wouldn’t change a thing navigating back to her hometown.

While life on the road had its perks, Stumler says she always prioritized raising a family. She and her husband have three girls.

While her stages are different now, Taylor Swift’s first fiddler still occasionally takes the stage.
