Sen. Yoder to hold community conversation, tree giveaway

State Sen. Shelli Yoder (D-Bloomington) will hold a community listening session Saturday,  followed by a tree give away. The event will be in the west parking lot of the Rev. Ernest D. Butler Park, 812 W. 9 th Street, Bloomington. The community conversation starts at 10 a.m. The tree giveaway runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until all the trees are gone.

Yoder represents Senate District 40, which includes Bloomington and Monroe County.

Sarah Vaughan is host of regional newscasts during All Things Considered and reporter for City Limits. She previously worked at WFHB Community Radio covering local government and community issues as the assistant news director.
