Indiana likely to cut abortion access, Gun legislation, Hops for crops | Indiana Newsdesk

The U.S. Supreme Court officially reversed Roe v. Wade Friday, declaring that the constitutional right to abortion upheld for nearly 50 years, no longer exists. Indiana lawmakers, for weeks,  planned to call a special session to further  restrict abortion access in the state.

The first major federal gun legislation in 2 decades is advancing – helped in part by one of Indiana’s U.S. senators who signed on to the bipartisan bill. Ahead, what’s Indiana doing to keep kids safe.

98% of hops, one of the main ingredients in beer, are grown in the pacific northwest. But as the climate changes, a new variety of the crop – found in Monroe County – could open up the door to other growing regions.

And after many delays officials in Terre Haute broke ground on a new casino.
