Bloomington is getting another chicken restaurant. Chicken Salad Chick says it’s coming to town.
The Southern-style chicken restaurant features a variety of sandwiches, soups and scoops of chicken salad. It will be located in University Square, near 3rd Street and the State Road 46 Bypass.

University Square is owned by Veritas Realty. The restaurant will be space formerly leased by Burgers, Wings & Things, which took the spot after Moe’s closed.
As of 2022, the Alabama-based franchise has 282 locations.
Construction is underway by Construction One. The restaurant appears to be in early stages of development and the expected opening date is unknown.
