Former President George W. Bush will join Purdue University President Mitch Daniels for a conversation about leadership during challenging times and the responsibilities of an informed public.
The event, “A Conversation with George W. Bush,” is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 6 in Elliott Hall of Music. It will be the final Presidential Lecture Series event of Daniels’ tenure at Purdue.

Daniels served as the 43 rd president’s first budget director at the White House, was an Eli Lilly executive, and Indiana governor. He accepted the job at Purdue after considering a run at the White House.
The Presidential Lecture Series aims to bring in "top thinkers" for discussions and conversations with the Purdue community. It is co-hosted with the College of Liberal Arts, with support from the Louis Martin Sears Lecture Series, and sponsored by the Purdue President’s Council.

While there is no charge for the event, reserved tickets will be required. Tickets will be available on Nov. 7 and individuals will be limited to two tickets each.
