A red wave did not materialize on the national stage in Tuesday’s mid-term election, but Indiana remained under solid republican control. The GOP won seven of nine U.S. house districts and maintained its super-majority in both chambers of the statehouse.

Bloomington and Monroe County leaders met this week to discuss expanding the convention center, an idea that has been in the works for years. But the two sides have different approaches to managing any expansion.

And IU received a grant to study the racial disparities in the distribution of the opioid overdose drug naloxone.
