Kinsey funding, war in Ukraine, Diary of Anne Frank opera | Indiana Newsdesk

Coming up on  Indiana Newsdesk:

House Republicans voted to block state money from being used to fund Indiana University’s Kinsey Institute, which focuses on human sexuality. The institute has been part of the cultural war since its founding in the 1950s.

An opera based on the Diary of Anne Frank will make its debut next month at IU’s Musical Arts Center. The opera’s composer is hoping the show will live on after its Bloomington premier.

And we’ll talk with a Ukrainian student at IU as Russia’s invasion of its neighbor hits the one-year mark.

Those stories and the latest news headlines from across the state, Friday at 6 on  Indiana Newsdesk.
