Aver’s Public House closed Thursday, stating that it wanted to focus on take-out and delivery at its north and south locations.
The craft pizza restaurant, located on S. College Mall Road put out a statement Friday:
“And so, join us in raising a pint in a farewell toast to the Public House! We will miss the family chatter, the raucous fundraisers, the committee murmurings, and the trivia nights. We are ever grateful for your patronage and look forward to serving you in new ways in the future!”
The statement mentions that Hank’s Pizza Mac is set to take over the space.
The restaurant is owned by Endeavor Hospitality Group. The company is privately owned by a Bloomington native, according to WOW Network.
