Qualifying for Medicaid, Crump Theatre reopens, Big Ten expansion | Indiana Newsdesk

Coming up on  Indiana Newsdesk:

More than 140,000 Hoosiers have been removed from Medicaid since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, mostly for procedural reasons as federal protections fell away. The surge of people trying to get back on Medicaid is further complicating the matter.

The Crump Theatre in downtown Columbus is undergoing major renovations and reopened this week after being shuttered for nearly a decade. Local businesses and volunteers are pitching in to restore the theater built in 1889.

And we talk with an IU official about what the latest Big Ten expansion means for the university and college athletics.

Those stories and the latest news headlines from across the state, Friday at 6 on  Indiana Newsdesk.
