The Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has arrested a 42-year-old Bloomington man following a month long investigation.
The task force is a multiagency operation overseen by Indiana State Police that investigates and prosecutes persons using the internet to sexually exploit children.
The investigation began last month when detective discovered a male suspect from Bloomington sharing child sex abuse material on a peer-to-peer file sharing network. The suspect was later identified as Matthew Martindale.
