The Big Ten released its 2023-24 conference women’s basketball schedule Thursday.
Indiana is coming off its first Big Ten regular season title in 40 years and returns most of last year’s team, including All-American Mackenzie Holmes.
The 18-game slate includes a pair of matchups against rival Purdue and Iowa, which won the Big Ten tournament last season.
The Hoosiers open conference play on Dec. 9 at Rutgers, then play Evansville and Bowling Green before resuming Big Ten play for the rest of the season on Dec. 31 at home against Illinois.
One of the most anticipated matchups comes on Jan. 13 when the Hoosiers travel to Iowa, which features All-American Caitlin Clark. The Hawkeyes make the return trip to Bloomington on Feb. 22.
The Hoosier face Purdue on Jan. 21 in West Lafayette and again on Feb. 11 in Bloomington.
Indiana wraps up the regular season at home against Maryland on March 3.
The Big Ten tournament runs March 6-10 at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
IU opens the regular season on Nov. 9 at home against Eastern Illinois, followed by a trip to Palo Alto, Calif., to face national powerhouse Stanford in the first year of a home-and-home series. The Cardinal are coached by former Hoosier Tara VanDerveer.
The Hoosiers play Tennessee and Princeton in the Fort Myers Tipoff tournament Nov. 23 and 25, then travel to Portland, Maine, to face the Black Bears on Nov. 30 in a homecoming game for Holmes.
