Registered Hoosier voters can cast their ballots early and in-person until noon Nov. 6.
Monroe County citizens can vote in the municipal election at Election Operations, located at 3rd and Walnut streets. Previously known as the NAPA Autoparts building, Election Operations opened last year with about 60 voting stations.
No campaign signs appear outside of the building yet, because only one of the races on the ballot is contested. Brett Heinisch (R) is running against Hopi Stosberg (D) for the District 3 seat.
The rest of the ballot features a heavily Democratic lineup, with Kerry Thomson running to secure her position as mayor.
A judge dismissed a lawsuit by Bloomington independent mayoral hopeful Joe Davis, who was seeking access to the general election ballot. This leaves Thomson as the only mayoral candidate.

In addition to the municipal elections, ballots will decide the fate of the Monroe County Community School Corporation referendum. The referendum seeks an 8.5-cent property tax raise to fund childhood educational programs.
