Caudell was helping with early voting efforts last weekend, according to the Lawrence County Zephyr. He said that running in this election has helped him come up with new ideas to improve the town.

Caudell is a lifelong Mitchell resident and business owner. His campaign in the primaries focused on city improvement, including a city-wide clean-up effort and evaluating city services with fiscal responsibilities in mind.

Caudell is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington with a degree in business administration.

Caudell is a lifelong Mitchell resident, the same as opponent Terrell.

He worked under his father and later inherited Holmes Hardware. He ran the store until earlier this year when he decided to close it.

Caudell also served twice as general chairman of the Persimmon Festival, according to the Southern Indiana Business Report.
