The Nov. 7 general election results are now final. The Secretary of State Elections Division’s deadline for each county to submit its results was Monday at noon.
These results include provisional ballots. For this election, each county had only a handful of these ballots, so the numbers from election night did not change much, if at all.

Monroe County had a referendum and one contested election. County Clerk Nicole Browne said in a 5 p.m. update on election day that only four provisional ballots had been issued, which would not be enough to change either result.
In Lawrence County, Democrat candidate Eugene Terrell received one additional ballot, bringing his total to 191 votes.

In Vigo County, Republican incumbent Duke Bennett received an additional ballot. Bennett now has 3,807 votes.

Bartholomew County did not receive any provisional ballots.
Candidates have until noon Tuesday to request a recount.
