Eclipse grants, IU climate action plan, MCCSC and Hauswald part ways | Indiana Newsdesk

Coming up on  Indiana Newsdesk:

The total eclipse is just a month away, and many rural communities are taking advantage of state and federal grants to host events on the big day. Hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected to descend upon Indiana for the eclipse.

Indiana University says it is working to better implement its climate action plan, but students and faculty say they’ve been left out of the process. The university has created a Chief Sustainability Officer to oversee its climate plan.

And Monroe County Community School Corporation and superintendent Jeff Hauswald have agreed to part ways after just three years.
