Gov. Eric Holcomb and INDOT Commissioner Mike Smith signed the final bridge beams for the I-69/I-465 interchange. The beams will be hung this week.

The interchange is part of the I-69 Finish Line project, upgrading State Road 37 connecting Martinsville to Indianapolis.

INDOT says the I-69/I-465 interchange will “have a positive impact on the region’s economic stability, opening new growth opportunities for the State of Indiana, and will provide a quicker, safer commute for motorists.”

The Martinsville/Indianapolis corridor is on track to open at the end of the year, according to INDOT.
