The IU Health center in Spencer is currently closed due to maintenance issues and will re-open next week, according to an IU Health spokesperson.
Residents first noticed a paper sign on the door on Wednesday saying the Owen County facility is closed until further notice.
Now, the healthcare provider has released the following statement:
“Our office located at 926 IN-46 in Spencer is currently closed due to maintenance issues. Patients are being contacted about their appointments.
“Patients can call 812-829-2237 or 1-866-429-5796 (after hours) for assistance. Individuals experiencing medical emergencies should call 911.
“We anticipate the office will reopen next week. Thank you for your patience during this time.”
