Indiana University Health is asking a judge to dismiss a lawsuit or wait for a medical opinion surrounding an alleged rape and treatment of an unnamed woman.

An unauthorized user had access to an IU Health employee’s email for 14 days in October, according to a release from the health system.

A woman who reported being raped as an Indiana University student in 2022 filed a federal lawsuit against the university and IU Health.
