A new IU Health urgent care location will open next Tuesday.
It’s on South Liberty Drive next to the west-side Kroger, behind Regions Bank.
This new office will offer walk-in services from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. Patients can reserve a spot in line on its website.
This new location will also house an occupational health service area for injury treatment, testing and screenings, return-to-work exams and more.
IU Health’s other Bloomington location is on South Woodscrest Drive
Urgent cares are most helpful for non-life-threatening conditions that still require prompt medical care — these include minor injuries and illnesses, screenings, and vaccinations.
