Protests at Indiana University demanding divesture from Israel and supporting a ceasefire in Gaza have been going on for more than a week. The response to the protests by IU president Pamela Whitten and her administration has been met with calls for her resignation. Ahead, we examine the issues behind the protests and the already tenuous relationship between Whitten and IU’s faculty.
