The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for most of the state until 9 p.m.

2:00 p.m. update
Most of the state is at risk for severe storms this afternoon and evening.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Indianapolis say the main threats are hail up to 2 inches, damaging winds, and tornadoes. The higher threat for tornadoes is the northern and eastern parts of the state.
High temperatures will reach 80 degrees today, overnight lows falling to 60 degrees.
Severe storms are possible again on Wednesday during the evening and overnight hours.
