The website also links to the restaurant’s realtor’s email for sales inquiries. WFIU has reached out for more information.
This year marks the restaurant’s 42nd anniversary.
The owner began the search for a successor in 2022. WFIU News contacted the restaurant’s business broker for additional information.
According to the restaurant’s website, the pub’s building dates to 1882, when it served as a pub and inn. The original owner, Zimri McCollough, constructed the building near the Monon Train Depot to serve its passengers. A historical photo of the pub was notably featured in the original show opening for Cheers.
