23-year-old found dead in Lake Lemon

DNR officers recovered the body of a Greenwood man from Lake Lemon Tuesday morning.

Dispatch was notified at 6:33 a.m. Tuesday that Nathan Stout, 23, was missing from his group of friends near the beach area of Riddle Point Park. He was last seen about 2 a.m. near the water. His body was recovered near the area about 10 Tuesday morning.

Monroe County Coroner Joani Stalcup had no update on this morning’s autopsy.

Conservation officers were assisted by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department in the investigation.
