Democratic candidates in a red state, Hamas attack anniversary, U.S. House Dist. 9 | Indiana Newsdesk

Coming up on  Indiana Newsdesk:

Republicans have held a super majority in the statehouse for more than a decade, including both U.S. Senate seats and seven of the nine U.S. House seats. So Democrats face an uphill battle every election cycle — especially, in deep red rural areas.

Life hasn’t been the same for many on campus since Hamas’ attack on Israel last Oct. 7 and the subsequent war that followed. Pro-Israeli and pro-Palestine groups gathered separately to mark the anniversary.

And we continue our series of interviews with candidates in next month’s general election with U.S. House District 9.

Those stories and the latest news headlines from across the state, Friday at 6 on  Indiana Newsdesk.
