The Indiana Department of Natural Resources will offer free admission Friday, Nov. 29 to all Indiana State Park properties that charge a gate fee for “Opt Outside Day”.
All 24 state parks and other state recreation areas are participating. A complete list is available on the DNR’s website.
The DNR is offering prizes for those who share photos on social media or join their scavenger hunt for Opt Outside Day. Prizes include 2025 DNR annual entrance passes, Outdoor Indiana subscriptions, and gift cards.
