The Mooresville student accused of plotting a school shooting will undergo a psychological evaluation, despite efforts from her lawyers to prevent such evaluation.
Trinity Shockley, 18, appeared before Morgan County Superior Court Monday. She faces felony charges of conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of intimidation with threat to commit terrorism.

The hearing lasted about ten minutes. Shockley’s lawyers informed the judge that they and the prosecution agreed to a psychological evaluation but asked that the results not be used against her for now.
That evaluation has yet to be scheduled.
Shockley’s lawyers say she is receiving medication at the Morgan County Jail and that they believe it is helping her.
Judge Van Leeuwen allowed the agreement and ordered a $1,000,000 property/surety bond plus $500,000 cash.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled for May 19, with a jury trial start date of June 10.
