Vegas Film Festival award-winning vocalist Betsy Baer and guitarist/composer Dr. B.G. McPike (an IU Music alum and former guitarist for The Singing Hoosiers) team up with 4-TIME Winfield National Mandolin Champion Solly Burton and bassist Eliot Crispin to bring you an unforgettable evening of freshly arranged music from The American Songbook, Bossa Nova, and Jazz with an Americana flair. McPike returns to Martinsville where he lived and taught guitar while finishing his doctoral work at IU in the 90s.
Betsy and The Bears perform original music along with music by George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Jobim, Bob Dylan, and others.
