DePauw Symphonic Band Concert

DePauw Symphonic Band Concert

"A Celebration of Music and Community"
Craig Paré, conductor
Sunday, April 26 • 3 p.m.
Green Center, Kresge Auditorium

For a few hours each week, members of the DePauw Symphonic Band, an ensemble for non-music majors founded by Dr. Craig Paré, put aside other disciplines to rehearse and enjoy their relationships with music. From pieces proposed by Prof. Paré, the student members vote to narrow their repertoire down to a dozen fun and distinctly different works for this year-end performance.

Members of the Symphonic Band also sponsor a good-will collection each semester of non-perishable food for the local Food Pantry. In support of their shared commitment to community service, contributions collected at their Sunday, April 26, concert will be donated to the Putnam County Emergency Food Pantry.
