MOOCH THE MAGNIFICENT, a short opera by and for youth. Performed by children alongside adults, in a collaboration of Reimagining Opera for Kids, Bridges MAYO, and Stages Bloomington. Performed with full orchestra!
Set in a zoo in the future, populated not by animals but robots in vaguely animal form. A young girl comes along and transforms them into ... well, you'll have to come and see for yoruself! The music is by Lauren Bernofsky, on a libretto by Scott Russell Sanders.
With music direction by Lauren Bernofsky and stage direction by Andrew Keeler.

Marrowood the Musical 4/23, 4/24 6pm Jackson Creek Middle School $5Marrowood is a new musical fantasy by Joe Donnelly and his son Torin MacLaughlin. Featuring a stellar cast and pit with fantastic large puppet costumes and video projections. This is a fundraiser for the JCMS scholarship fund, which has provided lessons for over 40 students.

It's the final countdown! The 24th season of QMC is coming to an end, and the chorus is adding another 525,600 minutes to our long history with a spring concert that is "By the Numbers!" You won't have to walk 500 miles to enjoy it, as we are singing right here in Bloomington, at First United Church, on Saturday, April 25th at 7:30pm and again on Sunday, April 26th at 3pm.
Numerical songs abound, but Quarryland invites you to this curated musical experience where you'll have a million reasons to laugh, cry, cheer, or just count your blessings. Time after time, our chorus sings for a measure of belonging, personal expression, and musical excellence in the LGBTQ+ community. You can count on QMC to make it worth your time!
