Apple Rap

You know the saying, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away"?

What do apples really have to do with healthy living? A lot, actually. You might say that apples are the fruit that keep on giving.

Apples are a good source for flavonoids, or chemicals that act as antioxidants and can even help prevent cancer.

Apples are also a good source of fiber. Eating a few apples a day will provide at least some of the fiber you need. When you munch on an apple, be sure to eat the skin. That's where nearly half of its vitamin C enters in.
