Bluegrass Artist Ralph Stanley's Staying Power

Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys come to the Buskirk-Chumley Theatre on Friday March 6th. Stanley talked with WFIU's George Walker talks about the innovations he made in instrumentation with lead guitarist George Shuffler. He also discusses artists that he's given a start to like Ricky Skaggs and artists that he's been featured on duets with like Joan Baez. And he explains how he's preserved his band's sound over more than fifty years with his banjo and lead tenor singing.
