Columbus Indiana Phil Takes On The Challenges Of Beethoven

On April 4th, The Columbus Indiana Philharmonic present Ludwig van Beethoven's "Missa Solemnis." Conductor David Bowden described to WFIU's George Walker the challenges of Beethoven's Missa Solemnis. He said that Beethoven asks the chorus to do things that you really shouldn't ask a chorus to do. And he made his case for it, along with Bach's B-minor Mass, being one of the two ultimate choral orchestral pieces of Western Music.
