February 12 th marks the 200 th anniversary of the birth of our 16 th President, Abraham Lincoln. Museums across the nation are marking the occasion with elaborate exhibitions, many of which stake their own claim on Lincoln's development. Rebecca Cape from the Lilly Library, noted the unique role Indiana played in Lincoln's life.
" Remembering Lincoln" showcases the conditions of his Lincoln's life during that time in Indiana. The Lilly Library will mark the bicentennial on February 12 th with an open reception which begins at 4 o'clock. The exhibit continues Monday through Saturday through May the 9 th.
