Mongol

The exciting and graphically violent film "Mongol," by Russian director Sergei Bodrov, turns the rise of Genghis Kahn into an action movie. The film begins with a stern Mongol proverb: "Do not scorn a weak cub he may become a brutal tiger." Like all the other Mongol sayings we are about to hear, this one is generally ignored. And that's a very good thing for a sensitive, intelligent little nine-year-old boy.
