Episode 47 - Exploring The Cold War Cinema Series
On this week's episode, we invite Professor Barb Klinger from IU's Department of Communication and Culture to discuss the Cold War Cinema series she programmed for the IU Cinema. Coming to the Cinema Wednesdays in September are The Day the Earth Stood Still, Kiss Me Deadly, and The Manchurian Candidate.
In What Have You Seen Lately, Jason raves about a couple of movies, including Crazy, Stupid, Love (Andy concurs... go see it... now), and Andy and Barb discuss Tree of Life.
We then talk about the Cold War Cinema series, the individual films included, along with some other films that aren't in the series, but are also available to see at the Cinema, and in Bloomington this fall. Barb also discusses her reasoning behind the films she selected.
