A Place For Film - Discussing The Underground Film Series

Episode 98 - Discussing The Underground Film Series

On this week's episode, we're discussing the Underground Film Series with Communications and Culture grad student and programmer, Mark Benedetti. We're also reviewing the Werner Herzog events.

We start out with What Have You Seen Lately and talk about many of the Werner Herzog events, including his lectures and films, along with Treasure of the Sierra Madre.

We then get into the interview with Mark Benedetti, discussing the Underground film series. He makes a compelling case for each of these films, highlighting the artistic value of these lesser known films.

It sounds like a fascinating series. Enjoy the episode.
