Celebration!

Surprisingly, over half of this composer's output involves voices in some manner, and the six last masses are considered to be at the pinnacle of his contributions to the genre. As opposed to his massive duties during his earlier appointments, at the end of his life, his final position was a fairly simple one. His primary duty was to supply a mass each year for performance in conjunction with the celebration of the name-day of Maria Hermenegild. These performances took place in Eisenstadt, where they spent the majority of the summer months.
