Little Green Men

Over the past forty years, this composer has become one of the most well-known film composers in America. This film about a boy who befriends a stranded alien was the composer's sixth collaboration with its director. The composer's exuberant and emotive music perfectly captures the film's immersion in the world of childhood and the imagination. The story is intentionally focused through the eyes of its young characters. Camera angles are consistently low, evoking a child's point of view. The director also deliberately cast lesser-known actors in the adult roles so as not to distract from the kids.
