Film Director Nicolas Refn

If you want to make movies, there are two things you have to know. You have to know how to write, and you have to know about money.

Nicolas Refn is known for directing three Pusher films and Drive, starring Ryan Gosling. His crime drama Bleeder won the FIPRESCI prize for the film at the 2000 Sarajevo Film Festival.

In 2003, he wrote and directed his first Hollywood film, Fear X starring John Turturro, which won an International Fantasy Film Award for Best Screenplay at the 2004 Fantasporto Film Festival.
