Grey Larsen is a performer, recording artist, composer, teacher, author, producer, and a mastering and recording engineer. The Bloomington resident is best known as one of the world's foremost players and exponents of the Irish flute.
To many musicians and music lovers, his recordings are classics. He is the author of two books: " The Essential Guide to Irish Flute and Tin Whistle," a 480-page work (with two accompanying CDs) on playing and appreciating Irish flute and tin whistle, and " The Essential Tin Whistle Toolbox," which takes the beginner, novice, or intermediate player of Irish tin whistle to a high level of competence.
