Julius Rudel, Principal Conductor of the New York City Opera

Julius Rudel is perhaps best knows for the 37 years he worked at the New York City Opera, where he served as general director and principal conductor. He received a Grammy for his recording of the Merry Widow, and he has been honored for his support of the music of Kurt Weill.
