Rob Stone, Physician and Health Care Reform Activist

Rob Stone, M.D., is the director of Hoosiers for a Commonsense Health Plan and assistant clinical professor of Emergency Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine.

He has been an emergency department physician at Bloomington Hospital since 1983, and was the Medical Director of the Community Health Access Program Clinic in Bloomington. In 1991, Dr. Stone was awarded The Humanitarian Award from the Bloomington Local Council of Women for outstanding health services by a physician to the community exemplifying the highest in medical ideals, ethics, and objectives.
