A longtime Bloomington restaurant will close at the end of January.
Bobby's Colorado Steakhouse announced on its website the restaurant and Classic Catering, Inc. will close effective Jan. 31.
"It's been a pleasure serving the Bloomington Community over the past 30 years," a statement on the website says.
The building on N. College Avenue has housed several different restaurants over the years. According to the Bobby's Colorado Steakhouse website, it started as a Frisch's Big Boy in the '60s, before changing to The Hitching Post, then Mr. A's, and Gold Rush in the '70s.
The building became The Colorado Steakhouse in 1985. It closed in 2009 and reopened in 2012 as Bobby's Colorado Steakhouse.
